"Global Cookie Domination" Coming to Somerville

As described over at Boston.com:

It took 123 years, but Lyndell's Bakery of Somerville is finally on its way to global cookie domination.

Last July, the shop took over a bakery in Boston's North End; last month, owner Bill Galatis bought Carberry's Cambridge and Malden locations. After Galatis repaints the Prospect St. building in brown, black and gold, he's remodeling the original Ball Sq. location with an 1880s-era flair...
