Palatable Boston Bagels Part II, The Rise of Bagel Rising

Check out Part I of the discussion here.

I'm trying to get in the habit of photographing treats before eating them so I can "show & tell" here. However, I realized while I was taking notes for this post that I had eaten my entire cookie. Oops. :)

Bagel Rising, in Allston Village, is my favorite place to grab a bite after getting my hair cut down the street at Biyoshi Salon. Bagel Rising makes a mean sandwich. The bagels themselves are superb with a nice, crunchy crust and chewy inside. The ingredients are always fresh and tasty. Want more sandwich testimonial? Apparently Boston Magazine noticed too.

Back to the aforementioned cookie. In addition to fantastic bagels, Bagel Rising offers up an amazing chocolate chip cookie. This is not the thick, chewy cookie I normally prefer but a very good, thin, crispy cookie. It was vegan to boot. Next time you're in the neighborhood definitely stop by!

Ooh, the sandwiches on their menu look awesome. It's out of my way, but I may have to head over sometime to give it a try. Thanks for the heads up!
