Reverse the Curse Goodies - Do Your Part!

I got the following email this morning:

Hey, you all! After the white knuckler last night, I think we need to rally around the Sox and do everything we can to help 'em win, and to prove that there's always a first time to win 4 in a row in the playoffs! So, in that spirit, you should to stop by the store and get y'self some Break the Curse Cookies! They're made by the Dancing Deer Baking Co. right here in Beantown. Not only are they delicious spice cookies, but they promise to help our boys along on the way to glory! Other thing is, after last night, you're going to need a little extra energy. GO SOX! Clint

I haven't tried these cookies yet but perhaps I should. The Sox played a great game last night and stayed alive to play again tonight. I've had other Dancing Deer products and have been impressed with the baking of this local company. They are quite good and great if you are going to a party and don't have time to bake (it happens!).

Here are links to Brookline Booksmith, my favorite local bookstore, and the Dancing Deer's Break the Curse Cookie.

Brigham's makes an incredibly tasty Reverse the Curse ice cream which is available in most grocery stores. Yes I have the remains of a pint in my freezer.

Still hungry for more good carb vibes? Daniel's Bakery in Brighton makes the most incredible Red Sox cookies in the shape of a jersey or a baseball. At $2.50 a pop, one cookie should last a couple of days. Well, should... :)
